[UPD] Grazies Spicy Garlic Chicken Recipe


While we absolutely LOVE the classic recipe - who doesn't like a little variation right?! We both absolutely love garlic (it's probably our most used ingredient in the pantry!) and of course lemon. So this recipe is a combination of the two and is super simple to put together. It'll hardly take you 15 mins but the result will be A-MAZING.

Sssshhh.. Guys! Arvin here. So here's a secret: Aena sort of loves extra garlic in hers! Which probably reflects on the recipe too (had to give in!). Feel free to use 7 - 8 cloves instead of 10. Happy cooking (and eating)!!

What a lovely pasta dish. I think the spicy chicken would add the best flavor to the dish and preparing the chicken ahead of time allows you to pull it together quickly. Perfect for a busy weeknight!


In terms of overall spiciness, our spicy chicken curry provides more a simmering heat than a fiery punch. This is s spiciness that can be enjoyed by many. That said, you can easily adjust the heat up or down by adding/reducing the cayenne powder as you prefer.

I made this today for lunch. I added some butter to the oil and garlic. Also, I used crushed red pepper.I had some colard green/white beans/peppers salad left over.My husband decided to mix everything together and came out really good.Only the garlic oil pasta tasted really good as well.This is a keeper. I made this with chicken pieces from chicken breast meat. Also after pasta finished cooking I saved a cup of pasta water then drained the pasta put it back in the cooking pan and coated it with butter before putting it in the olive oil garlic crushed pepper. Totally awesome. Tyvm for the recipe!


This dish can be prepared with a whole chicken cut into pieces, but I often use chicken thighs, which are both inexpensive and full of flavor. For this recipe, I usually cook my chicken on the stovetop over low heat in a cast iron pan, but you could also use a roasting pan and bake the chicken in the oven if you prefer.


Made this the other night. Did the oven route because the timing that way was just going to work better for me. It was delicious and a big hit at our house. I used all bone in breast meat since we all prefer that. Served it with a little angelhair with garlic and olive oil. This was the first of your recipes that I have tired. Love, love your website and have referenced in often for several years ! Especially love this recipe and the recipes for chicken thighs stuffed and rolled with the parmesan cheese bread crumb mixture and then braised in the tomato sauce!! Thank you for your beautiful and wonderful website ?


Yes! I made a huge batch based on this recipe and froze it in smaller tupperwares. I would just reheat them on the stove for either soup (my spicy version) or spaghetti sauce and it was fantastic. I only confused the spicy and not spicy a few times lol. I made enough that it lasted about a year and it was still delicious.

This is my second time making this we loved it the first time so making again, added chicken just to make it higher protein little extra garlic as we love garlic and instead of butter for my mushrooms, I used just a little tuscan olive oil. So good and the flavor is amazing! Thanks for the recipe!


Love this recipe. I often have leftover potatoes that are about to go bad, I make a lot of this soup and freeze the portions i dont eat right away. Very easy to warm up again and most importantly tasty and quick. I love the simplicity of this recipe aswell as how little time it takes up and how good it tastes.
